DEI Heat Shroud sleeving solves the problem of heat and abrasions causing failure of lines, hoses, and wires without the need to disconnect them. Offered in two different materials, both provide high-temperature protection and the added convenience of a hook-and-loop closure design that eliminates the need of removing one end of connected wires, cables, or hoses to install. Heat Shroud with glass fiber fabric and aluminized outer facing has the versatility of fitting diameters from 0.5 in. to 2.5 in. diameter, is easy to trim to length, and reflects 90 percent of radiant heat. For more demanding applications there is DEI Heat Shroud GOLD featuring metalized polyimide lamination, bonded to a robust 20 oz. heat-treated glass fiber base (rated to 1,100 degrees F) material. It is able to reflect radiant heat up to 800 degrees F and will fit diameters from 0.5 in. to 1.25 in.

DEI Fire Tape
DEI Fire Tape is a non-adhesive silicone rubber tape that is self-bonding, self-curing, and forms a permanent watertight barrier. It's ideal for use with DEI Fire Sleeves and serves as an excellent insulating alternative for vinyl tapes and wraps. Other uses include wrapping wiring harnesses, along with covering and protecting wire splices and electrical wire terminations. It withstands 500 degrees of direct continuous heat, does not harden, remains flexible, and is self-bonding and self-curing.

DEI Heat Sheath Sleeves
DEI Heat Sheath sleeves are made from high-temperature fiberglass fabric bonded to aluminized material and then sewn into a tube. Designed to slide over wires and hoses, these sheaths can be easily shaped to fit the tightest bends. They will reflect up to 90 percent of the radiant heat and can insulate against up to 500 degrees of direct, continuous heat. They can be easily cut to length with scissors or a sharp knife and come in five popular diameters from 3/4 in. to 1 1/4 in., in 3 ft. lengths. They are also available in bulk, up to 50 ft. rolls.
