They feature special heat-treated races and sprags, high-performance clutches and bands, and improved lubrication. The ATI SuperCase TH350 transmission cases are SFI-approved for competition use. The case, bellhousing, and tailhousing are cast from 356T6 cast aluminum. Developed to eliminate all weak points found in the original GM design, this rugged assembly features a steel safety inner liner that weighs only 29 ounces and eliminates the need for any external shields. In addition, the SuperCase features a removable bellhousing that bolts directly to the transmission case instead of the pump bolt locations and has been engineered to accept all internal Turbo 350 components. Order the model that is best suited for your application. TCI Circle Track transmission packages use the latest developments in drivetrain technology to deliver superior performance in one convenient package. As with every TCI Circle Track transmission, those used in Circle Track packages include several advantages over the commonly used manual transmissions, including lighter weight (50-60 lbs. over standard), more economical pricing and performance improvements. Some of these performance improvements include instant throttle response, superior engine braking capabilities and quicker lap times. The converters used in these packages are specially designed with a lower "positive lock-up" stall speed which can eliminate up to 10 percent of power robbing slippage found in OEM and lesser quality converters. This can ultimately result in reducing lap times by as much as one to two-tenths of a second. These units are triple tested and rigorously inspected to provide unmatched performance and race-after-race durability.
