EPAS Performance Hydroelectric Pump System Kits

EPAS Performance's Hydroelectric Pump System has a program that works with an angle sensor and CAN protocol. The converter talks to the pump via the angle sensor, ramping up the system's pressure as needed. There is no noticeable delay or drop in pressure when input at the steering wheel is exerted. This steering conversion kit includes 6 ft. of high-pressure sending hose, 6 ft. of low-pressure return hose, and the power cords are 10 ft. in length. An oil cooler can be added for racing applications. The wiring harness is essentially plug-and-play, and only requires a hot ignition source and full battery power. System draw is anywhere between 1 amp to 45 amps, spending most of its time in the lower amp range. Stock ball joints, unit bearings, axles, brakes and dust shields are all retained. Rock Jock's Currectlync steering included in these kits features revolutionary high articulation forged chromoly drag link that incorporates a unique organic shape with many compound curves—which can only be achieved via forging, resulting in maximum up-travel capabilities. The tie rod is a 42mm (1 5/8 in.) diameter chromoly tube. All Currectlync steering ends are forged steel and comparable in size to those found on modern 1-ton trucks. Given the dramatic geometry changes vehicle lifts impose, the kits include a trac bar geometry relocation bracket with a fully integrated: a) steering stabilizer shock mount, OR b) ram assist steering mount (depending on the kit you order). The trac bar mounting point is raised 2 1/2 in., to correct geometry, preventing any bump steer. * a) The steering stabilizer shock mounting point portion of the bracket moves the shock up and behind the new tie rod location, far from its vulnerable stock location.
