Scott's Hot Rods 4-bar rear suspension kits have a simple design, but will greatly improve the ride quality and handling of your hot rod or custom. These truly equal length parallel 4-bars use a very long, perpendicular panhard bar to maximize efficiency and reduce lateral movement. Both user-friendly and fully adjustable, the kits also use their CNC-machined and tapped stainless steel rod ends with right-hand or left-hand thread, allowing you to adjust the pinion angle and setup without unbolting the link bars. And unlike a Triangulated 4-link system, the pinon angle does not change throughout the travel of the suspension. The kits are offered with coilovers or airbags. UMI Performance bolt-in Viking rear coilover kits allow full ride height, spring rate, and damping adjustability. The double shear upper mount is a direct bolt-in and holds a true 2.5 in. diameter coilover spring. The FEA designed lower bracket bolts in using the standard shock mounting hole as well as an additional reinforcement hole. Drilling one 3/8 in. hole per side is required to complete installation. The coilover kits utilize Viking shocks that are 19-way adjustable in both compression and rebound to ensure the perfect setting for every application. Viking shocks are fully rebuildable. The 2.5 in. diameter coilover springs are available in 14 in. long, 110 lb. spring rate for drag use; 14 in. long, 125 lb. spring rate for street use; and 12 in. long, 150 lb. spring rate for autocross and road race applications.
