The 2024 aluminum bodied rocker arms are designed to withstand open spring pressures of up to 900 lbs., while maintaining precise valve lash settings. They are designed to bolt on with little to no cylinder head modifications and in most cases still fit under a stock valve cover. The rocker geometry is preset and engineered using the common valve supplied with the specific cylinder head to provide a bolt-on-and-go installation. COMP Cams Shaft Mount Aluminum Rocker Arms

COMP Cams shaft mount aluminum rocker arms are one of the most cost-effective ways to increase horsepower. These shaft rockers were designed using the latest in computer software and engineering. They center the roller tip over the valve tip at the correct time so that the roller tip is never more than 0.020 in. off-center of the valve tip. At the greatest load point, the roller tip contact is on the center of the valve. At valve closing, the roller tip contact is slightly behind the valve centerline. When the valve is at full open, the tip contact is slightly behind the centerline of the valve. The results are more horsepower and better performance.

Stock LS3 ports accommodate LS3-style intake manifolds and LS9/LSA blower assemblies. The valve angles have been changed from 15° to 12° to increase piston-to-valve clearance and allow the use of larger camshafts. The coolant holes through the head deck were redesigned to work with all LS head gasket and engine block combinations. GenX 255 heads are available with standard or 6-bolt per cylinder mounting patterns. Trick Flow GenX 255 cylinder heads are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747 for 2007-present GM vehicles with 6.2L engines. They are available fully assembled or as bare castings.
