Edelbrock Victor DR-17 Pro-Port Raw Cylinder Heads
Sportsman racers need reliable parts that will get them through the entire race season. Edelbrock Victor DR-17 Pro-Port raw cylinder heads are designed to give consistent performance in big block Chevys. These new-wave heads are based on the 24 degree Victor Gen II raw design, but feature 17 degree intake valve angles for improved efficiency and combustion, and a slight adjustment in location for better flow. Edelbrock uses a pressurized chamber and aerospace process called Hot Isostatic Pressing to compress castings at nearly 900 degrees F and 30,000 psi to give them nearly three times the average fatigue life, wicked strength, extreme density, and near billet aluminum consistency. DR17 Pro Port heads are cast with enough wall thickness for CNC-machining to various port dimensions, and will allow most CNC port shapes, sizes, and locations.
