The lid is manufactured using a special composite material, specifically chosen for its ability to resist power-robbing underhood heat. The lid also incorporates an O-ring, completely sealing the air box for maximum pressurization and further insulation against heat-soaking—optimizing performance under varying driving conditions. They also include a secondary intake duct that scoops up additional cool, oxygen-rich air via the factory brake cooling duct, further improving performance as road speed increases.

Dinan Carbon Fiber Air Intake Systems
Dinan carbon fiber air intake systems force-feed the engine with greater volumes of cool, oxygen-rich air for substantial power gains. These kits are so effective that the carbon fiber inlet air temperature is a full 40 degrees F cooler than the incoming air from the stock inlet.
