Tepui Explorer Series Ayer tents are designed for all-year, all-season adventures—all in a compact package! These 2-person roof-top tents are perfect for smaller vehicles, like cars and mid-size SUVs, thanks to the low weight (only 100 lbs.!) and smaller footprint. Plus, each features a lightweight aluminum base packed with fiberglass insulation to keep you comfortable. Inside, the Tepui Explorer Series Ayer tent features a fully wrapped, 5/8 in. diameter aluminum A-frame, plus a 2.5 in. thick, high-density foam mattress with a removable, washable cotton cover. The mattress stretches from edge to edge, providing enough room to sleep up to two people comfortably. There are even four large internal pockets to keep your gear organized and out of the way. Outside, the canopy is constructed from a waterproof 600-denier, 260g polyester/cotton blend that's UV- and mildew-resistant. It's finished with four large no-seam mesh windows and two skylights with YKK water-resistant zippers; and the canopy can be easily removed from the base via Tepui's patented Zipper Gimp system.
