It used to be that big horsepower increases required major internal engine modifications. However, Nitrous Express has a way that's a whole lot easier--and cheaper. Just bolting one of their EFI single nozzle nitrous systems onto your domestic or import can add from 35 to 150 hp to a V8, with intermediate choices of 50, 75, and 100 hp (with a maximum of 75 hp for fours and sixes.) These systems rely on a Nitrous Express Shark performance nozzle and will work with standard fuel pumps, without any timing retard. The annular booster venturis are precision die-cast with CNC-machined billet aluminum inserts, providing smoother and more refined air entry, a stronger vacuum signal, less turbulence, and improved fuel emulsion for better combustion. Rick's Hot Rod Shop fuel injected fuel tanks are TIG-welded and hand-formed from 304 Grade stainless steel. They feature an electric fuel pump installed and ready to run. The ACDelco fuel pump can support up to 450 hp and puts out 51 psi at 13.5 V. Built into a specially designed chamber, the fuel pump will not suffer from fuel starvation, as flow is provided through -6 AN supply and return ports. Rick's fuel injected gas tanks use a unique baffle system that is designed to control fuel tank slosh. These tanks feature mounting flanges manufactured from 3/8 in. thick, CNC-machined 304 stainless steel stock to ensure a proper seal. They include stainless steel mounting straps and hardware and will accept any aftermarket sending unit, sold separately.
