UMI Performance 1964-72 GM A-Body Rear Coilover Kits

UMI Performance 1964-72 GM A-Body rear coilover kits allow for ride height adjustments ranging from a -2 in. to -3 in. drop, along with spring rate and damping modifications. Each kit includes a reinforced upper mount that bolts directly in place (requiring one additional hole to be drilled) and accommodates a true 2 1/2 in. racing coilover with a double-shear mount. It also features FEA-designed reinforced lower brackets that bolt directly over the stock rear lower control arm mounts and utilize the existing lower shock hole(s). The 2-hole trailing arm height adjustment enables fine-tuning of the instant center location for drag launches or autocross/road race rear steer tuning. Viking Performance shocks offer 19-way adjustments for both compression and rebound. The 2 1/2 in. coilover springs come in various rates suitable for drag use, street driving, and autocross/road racing. Please note that these kits are intended for a -2 to -3 in. Pro-Tour style lowering and are compatible only with factory GM axle housings. They may not fit aftermarket housings such as Quick Performance, Currie, or Moser. Optional add-ons like thrust bearings and a spanner wrench are recommended for easier adjustments. A shock tower brace for additional chassis reinforcement is also available separately. The kits are meant solely for lowering purposes, and welding may be necessary for drag use on vehicles running 10.50 or faster. Product features: * Ride height adjustment from -2 in. to -3 in. drop * Spring rate and damping adjustments * Trailing arm adjustment for fine-tuning of instant center * Reinforced upper mount with direct bolt-in installation * Holds a true 2 1/2 in. racing coilover with double-shear mount * FEA designed reinforced lower brackets bolt directly over stock rear lower control arm mounts * 2-hole trailing arm height adjustment for fine-tuning of instant center location * Viking Performance shock with 19-way adjustable compression and rebound * 2 1/2 in. coilover springs available in different rates * 100 percent designed, manufactured, and raced out of Philipsburg, PA * 3 spring ratings available * Viking Warrior shocks * 19 compression and rebound adjustments
