UMI Performance 1993-97 F-Body LT1 Stage 2 front-end kits provide a strong foundation for your street car designed for drag strip use. They offer a balanced combination of weight reduction, strength, performance, and comfort. Known as the strongest in their class, the dual tube K-member can handle wheel stand landings and street abuse while minimizing weight and protecting the oil pan. The lower arms feature poly bushings in the straight strut portion to absorb road noise, while the non-adjustable uppers guide the suspension using greaseable poly bushings. Both upper and lower A-arms are assembled with premium ball joints, saving an additional 8 lbs. UMI's K-member and A-arms are constructed from durable DOM tubing, which is precisely bent, CNC-notched, and welded in a jig to create a solid base. The included K-member is compatible with factory motor mounts, polyurethane motor mounts, or UMI's popular solid billet aluminum motor mounts. Stage 2 kits are a direct bolt-in replacement that removes front-end weight while maintaining street comfort and enhancing performance. UMI Performance complete front adjustable A-arms are built using strong DOM steel tubing, 0.188 in. CNC-machined shock mounts, Moog Problem Solver greasable ball joints, and QA1 XM Endura series rod ends. A-arms can be installed on the stock K-member or any aftermarket K-member.
