These narrowed 4-link axle assemblies allow for the easiest installation of your 4-link system. The 9 in. Ford housings are great foundations for putting torque to the pavement. They feature a webbed center section, internal gussets, thick wall tubes, and billet steel flanges (new-style Big Bearing/Torino). The pinion is offset 1/2 in. and the axle flange is offset 2 1/2 in. The narrowed axle widths satisfy mini-tub applications. Ridetech narrowed housing and axle packages are offered in two axle lengths and available raw or with a black powdercoat finish. Resolved bump steer and camber gain issues. Your tires will lean into the turn, the bump steer is optimized to under 0.065 in. through 5 in. of suspension travel, and you have the clearance to run up to a 275mm tire.
