Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 IR extended travel coilover kits are longer shock versions offering increased wheel travel, while vehicle-specific valving provides unrivaled ride quality across a wide range of on and off-road use. These Vehicle-Specific (VS) adjustable coilovers feature 2.5 in. aluminum bodies finished with a corrosion-resistant CAD plating, gas-charged internal reservoirs (IR), high-quality coil springs that won't sag or break, and premium bearings that provide extended longevity and minimal deflection. They are fully serviceable, so they can be rebuilt and/or revalved to offer an immeasurable service life, and their bolt-in design fits the OE shock location, making installation easy. Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 VS RR/UCA Shock Systems
Icon's GM 2500HD/3500HD upper control arms are packaged with their shock absorbers as a complete system, ensuring compatibility and performance. Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 VS/UCA shock systems contain shocks configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune for outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street, along with Icon's Delta Joint tubular or billet control arm kits. Icon's 2.5 VS RR shock systems offer a remote reservoir design that improves heat dissipation to reduce shock-fade during prolonged use. And of course, they are 100 percent rebuildable and revalvable. Icon's Delta Joint upper control arm kits provide the advantage of increased wheel travel, when paired with the shocks. The patented Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high-angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball. They feature a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal-on-metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation. The CDCV is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir, creating 10 levels of compression damping force ranges.
