Flaming River Microsteer electric power assisted steering kits can easily be fitted to virtually any vehicle where manual steering currently exists. There's no need to change your steering rack or fit a hydraulic system. These kits allow you to adjust the amount of assistance by using a rotary potentiometer—or you can make the system speed sensitive by connecting a wheel speed signal to the tuning box. A mode selection switch on the box allows you to choose your preferred method—manual or wheel speed. Flip the switch and make your vehicle easier to steer or boost the horsepower a bit with a Flaming River Microsteer electric power assisted steering kit. Flaming River Tilt Column Shift Steering Columns
Flaming River tilt column shift steering columns feature large tube diameters and compact shrouds to create a unique custom look. Available in a variety of styles, lengths, and shaft sizes, they come complete with a gearshift knob, billet dress up kit (tilt, turn signal lever, and hazard knob), GM wiring (4 1/4 in. connector), and removable 12-position linkage arm. The columns are manufactured from high-quality 304 grade stainless steel, will never rust, and are available in a variety of finishes—including a paintable mill finish, black powdercoated, spray chromed, or polished to a high luster. Mill finish columns are shipped chemically clean and can be painted to match or highlight an interior with only minor preparation. A combination neutral safety switch/back-up light (sold separately) must be ordered with the column, except for select models that include a switch. Select units include an integrated ignition key located at the 3 o'clock position, with no welded-on attachments or extra relays required. These columns are complete with a key assembly, wiring, and ignition switch. Columns are offered with or without illuminated gearshift indicators. Have an overdrive automatic transmission? No problem; order the optional gearshift indicator overdrive lens (sold separately). Flaming River tilt column shift steering columns are available in universal and vehicle-specific models.
