Classic Instruments' 1978-88 Chevy G-Body direct-fit packages are all-electric clusters featuring a speedometer, tachometer, clock, and fuel, oil, temp, and volt gauges in an OE style. These instruments are available either with or without gear position indicator, and with or without overdrive gear indicator for use with any transmission. Hybrid LED lighting offers the feel of the original perimeter lighting and the visual benefits of back-lighting: even illumination and clear nighttime readability. Turn signals and high beam indicators are in the original locations, and each kit includes new check engine and high beam sockets with LED bulbs. Additional indicator bulbs are available for purchase. These kits also include: a wiring harness, push-button speedometer calibration for ease of setup, a new acrylic lens, and built-in ECM signal filter switch. Save space with Classic Instruments' Zeus Speedometer Technology built-in, meaning the cluster requires no external control boxes and works directly with ECM or VSS signals. The fuel gauge is programmable for any ohm range with a selector switch on the back of the cluster, meaning the fuel gauge will work with the stock sending unit, any other factory sending units, or any Classic Instruments fuel sending unit. All other necessary sending units are included in a Classic Instruments GM sending unit kit. Install using your existing diffuser. The gauge sets also fit 1982-87 GMC Caballero. UMI Performance bolt-in Viking rear coilover kits allow full ride height, spring rate, and damping adjustability. The double shear upper mount is a direct bolt-in and holds a true 2.5 in. diameter coilover spring. The FEA designed lower bracket bolts in using the standard shock mounting hole as well as an additional reinforcement hole. Drilling one 3/8 in. hole per side is required to complete installation. The coilover kits utilize Viking shocks that are 19-way adjustable in both compression and rebound to ensure the perfect setting for every application. Viking shocks are fully rebuildable. The 2.5 in. diameter coilover springs are available in 14 in. long, 110 lb. spring rate for drag use; 14 in. long, 125 lb. spring rate for street use; and 12 in. long, 150 lb. spring rate for autocross and road race applications. The coilover kits have been tested with 1.5 in. diameter UMI trailing arms, as well as UMI's 22mm sway bar and 32mm drag anti-roll bar. Fitment with other brand sway bars and larger diameter control arms is not guaranteed. Please contact UMI for additional information regarding fitment.
