Wilson Manifolds high-flow throttle bodies were developed using the latest computer modeling software and test equipment available to produce designs that yield the maximum flow per square inch of cross-sectional area. These units are designed to work with Wilson's line of billet spacers—they incorporate a tapered and radiused throttle bore, along with precisely machined progressive linkage, for smooth throttle operation. They also feature inward-opening throttle blades to eliminate directional influence caused by the blades. All throttle bodies are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum on precision CNC machining centers for consistent quality and light weight. Most models feature brass throttle blades to control vibration and reduce thermal expansion. The throttle shafts are machined to decrease their cross-sectional area, which increases the actual cross-section available for airflow. These multi-port fuel injection throttle bodies are available in 1- or 4-venturi models, with different diameters and airflow rate options. The Individual Cylinder Timing (ICT) drive is setup to use a 3/8 in.-24 non-magnetic pickup (not supplied), which picks up the cam position off a rare earth magnet embedded in the external rotor. The pickup can be indexed every 60 degrees for ideal wire routing. Jesel Pro Series distributor drives also feature Gates PowerGrip HTD belts and use Moroso Ultra Series distributor components.
