FLOTEK's 290cc big block Chevy cylinder heads with 112cc combustion chambers are recommended for moderate street or street/strip BBCs with displacements up to 509 cu. in. operating at or below 6,500 rpm. It may be necessary to check clearance and slightly modify some domed aftermarket pistons due to the efficient heart-shaped combustion chamber on these heads (most of the newer designed dome profiles will clear). FLOTEK recommends removing material from the piston and not the cylinder head, as the combustion chamber shapes are very critical to flow—altering the cylinder head can unfavorably affect flow and power performance. FLOTEK's medium-sized 290cc oval port cylinder heads are designed for 3/8 in. pushrods with 0.120 in. wall thickness. They're available assembled or bare for a variety of engine applications. LS Classic Series Big Block Chevy Style LS Valve Covers

LS Classic Series big block Chevy style valve covers are designed to give the appearance of a big block Chevy while fitting the LS family of engines. Like all our cast aluminum valve covers, they accept the OEM rubber seals (not included) and bolt directly to the cylinder head. With no extra adapter required, there is less chance of leakage and the covers are only 2 in. tall. The valve covers include a billet aluminum filler cap on one cover for easy oil filling, and come with all the necessary mounting hardware, including factory look load spreaders. They also have a ported PCV fitting/vacuum port and oil splash baffle in one cover. The castings are designed to be thick enough for drilling and tapping for fittings. Covers are available with a natural cast finish, chrome plated, or painted Chevrolet orange and include vintage Chevrolet Tonawanda factory stickers. March Performance Chevy big block serpentine conversion kits simply bolt onto the front of any big block Chevy heads. Depending on the kit you choose, the alternator, A/C, and optional power steering will be either outward or mid-mounted. These pulleys are precision CNC-machined from solid billet 6061 T-6 aluminum to fit perfectly and handle high-torque and vibration. They are then clear powdercoated to eliminate polishing in those hard-to-reach places. These pulleys will not fracture like common cast pulleys, since they have high-tensile strength for much longer wear. The street rod ratio increases water flow and fan speed, which helps during critical low-speed driving.
