MSD Pro-Billet Front Drive Distributors
MSD's Pro-Billet front drive distributors are the solution for race engines that don't have room for a standard distributor, due to firewall clearance or intake combinations. They're run by a wide 9mm belt that is driven by a pulley installed on the camshaft. The belt is wider than any other drive assembly for increased strength and durability. The distributor head is CNC-machined from billet aluminum and is secured to a stout billet aluminum bracket for strength. This system is an extremely accurate way to distribute the spark energy in harsh racing conditions. The distributors have a built-in belt adjustment feature for easy tension adjustments, and a band clamp mount for easy rotor phasing adjustments. They include MSD's Pro-Cap that is injection-molded from Dupont Rynite material for high dielectric strength, and the five in. diameter ensures accurate spark delivery. The distributors are supplied with mounting bolts, a cam pulley, hardware, and a drive belt. They must be used with a Jesel camshaft belt drive kit and an MSD Flying Magnet crank trigger.

Jesel Extreme Series Distributor Drive Kits with ICT
Jesel Extreme Series distributor drive kits with ICT provide a simple and accurate cam sync source for engines operating with an electronic fuel injection system, and the ability to handle the high cylinder pressures experienced in Pro Stock and Pro-Mod type engines. The Individual Cylinder Timing (ICT) drive is setup to use a 3/8 in.-24 non-magnetic pickup (not supplied), which picks up the cam position off a rare earth magnet embedded in the external rotor. The pickup can be indexed every 60 degrees for ideal wire routing. Jesel Extreme Series distributor drives also feature MSD 5 in. Pro-Caps to ensure accurate spark delivery, as well as to reduce spark scatter frequently experienced in high cylinder pressure applications.

They're designed to work with EFI management systems that fire the fuel injectors in the same order as the engine's firing order. They require a sync signal to know when the number one cylinder is firing and feature an adjustable sync pickup so you can set it to match your ECU's requirements (up to 60 degrees BTDC). This sync pickup uses a powerful, rare-earth magnet for strong trigger signals, and the wiring is routed through a weathertight connector for a positive-locking sealed connection. Each distributor housing is CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, creating a strong, precise housing. The rotor features thick vanes to stir up the air and is injection-molded from Rynite for high dielectric strength. A 0.500 in. polished steel shaft spins the rotor and is guided by a sealed ball bearing at the top and an extra-long sintered bushing at the bottom for added stability. These distributors are ready to drop in your race engine, from the bronze gear to the brass terminals of the cap. Chevrolet models have an adjustable slip collar that allows you to accurately set the distributor's installation depth in the engine. An MSD crank trigger, ignition control, and MSD 6, 7, 8, or 10 Series ignition must be used.
