Pacific Performance Engineering GM 3.0L Duramax air-to-water intercooler kits add style and performance to your Duramax. The intercooler is 77 percent less restrictive than the stock GM model, featuring flow-optimized, cast aluminum end tanks and a 2.4 times larger, less restrictive core structure. These features along with their all-aluminum bar and plate-style construction and superior fin layout, PPE intercoolers deliver increased cooling with a cooler and denser charge air that also helps reduce exhaust gas temperature (EGTs), increases fuel efficiency, and lowers the pressure drop. MSD Power Grid boost controllers let the driver regulate the amount of boost pushing air into the engine. These controllers allow you to devise a timing map based on boost pressure, and map entire runs with advanced View software. Values are based on pressure sensors, including a 4-BAR internal, which is good through 43.5 psi. The units include a safety overboost shut-down feature and boost pressure activation output. (To use any modules with the Power Grid system, users must plug the modules into a 4-connector CAN-Bus hub to be attached to the Power Grid system controller).
