Each engine block undergoes a rigorous testing and machining process, including: Oven cleaning; testing for cracks through magnetic particle inspection; and main line honing. They're bored and honed with a torque plate, given a hot tank wash; cam bearing journals are line bored and cam bearings are installed; and the units receive a fresh coat of paint before final packaging and shipping. Available in 5- or 6-gauge combos with electrical or mechanical instruments, the gauges feature classic 1940s "retro" styling: white-on-black or black-on-white English-scale graphic dials with contrasting Wings logo, distinctive teardrop-style pointers, bright chrome bezels, domed (convex) lenses, and 12 V lamps.
