They also allow you to retain your stock oil filter location. The integrated thermostat reduces warm-up time by keeping the bypass closed until the oil reaches 180 degrees F. These adapters come with a variety of common oil filter adapter nipples are available with or without a 1 in. spacer. To top things off, Vibrant Performance thermostatic oil cooler sandwich adapter kits have 1/8 in. NPT ports to run a pressure sensor or oil temperature sensor.
