The bypass allows a portion of the fuel to run through the sensor to measure the ethanol content for your ECM. The rest of the fuel flows around, or parallel to, the sensor, avoiding a restriction in the feed line. Our combo kits include a GM Flex Fuel sensor and pigtail for GM LS Series engines.

The Summit Racing™ Flex Fuel Sensor Bypass lets you use a factory-type flex fuel sensor in a high-volume, high-flow fuel system with lines up to -10 AN. The bypass allows a portion of the fuel to run through the sensor to measure the ethanol content for your ECM--and then allows the rest to flow around or parallel to the sensor to avoid a restriction in the feed line. Made from billet aluminum and hard anodized black, the bypass kits come with -6, -8,and -10 AN adapter fittings and also include methanol-resistant O-rings.
