Installing a FASS Fuel System has never been easier! Their all-new return style fuel tank sump kits only require a single hole to be drilled into the fuel tank, and include a 1/2 in. NPT return port—allowing you to plumb the FASS return line right to the fuel tank sump. These kits also place the 1/2 in. NPT suction port at the lowest point in the fuel tank, ensuring unrestricted fuel flow to the FASS System. Last but not least, the extra-large bowl acts as a reservoir, creating a consistent supply of fuel to the FASS System when running close to empty, or under heavy braking and acceleration. During hard cornering, acceleration, stopping, inclines, and low fuel conditions fuel runs away from the fuel pick up which introduces air into the system resulting in poor engine performance and even stalling. The Holley HydraMat fuel pickups are the solution! Surface tension and fluid wicking are the secrets of the HydraMat, giving it the amazing ability to draw from nearly any area that has contact with fuel and then store it in its internal reservoir. As an area of the HydraMat is uncovered, the tiny pores of the media seal off through surface tension, forcing fuel to be contained in the reservoir and drawn from other areas of the mat where fuel continues to be available. The sheer size and coverage area of the HydraMat allows it to pull fuel from virtually any area in the tank or cell eliminating the need for specialty reservoirs and pick up pumps saving cost and greatly reducing complexity.
