Torco TBO Premium break-in oil is a blend of hydro-processed petroleum base stocks that clean and prepare new surfaces. Since the first start-up of a new engine is critical to its life expectancy, it utilizes specially selected additives in order to protect vital race engine parts during the first startup. TBO cleansing agents "scrub down" any contaminants left in new engines from the production process and ensure a good cleansing of freshly machined parts. Using protective anti-wear chemistry allows mating surfaces to gently make contact during the first new startup. Torco TBO provides the proper film for new bearing protection and is made to withstand viscosity breakdown in order to maintain good, strong parts separation films. This oil can also be used as a consistent monitor control oil or "reference oil" for engine studies using an engine dynamometer. Torco TBO contains a high percentage of "zinc" anti-wear chemistry for proper valvetrain and new cam break-in protection.

Red Line Engine Oil Break-In additive provides conventional motor oils with anti-wear elements, like zinc and phosphorus that are necessary to protect against camshaft and valvetrain damage on break-in. This is especially important in flat-tappet engines where bigger camshaft grinds and higher valve spring pressures are now popular. Red Line Engine Oil Break-In additive is designed to allow piston rings to seat properly, while enabling other engine components to avoid excessive wear. One 16 oz. bottle treats up to 12 qts. of motor oil--in many cases, one bottle can service two different engines. The fluid can also be added to conventional and synthetic oils during regular operation, providing an extra package of protection not otherwise found in most motor oils.

Torco ZEP Zinc Engine Protector contains MPZ, a perfect balance of zinc, phosphorus and moly. The friction fighting chemistry of MPZ adds wear protection back into motor oils that have zinc, the anti-wear chemical, purposely removed. ZEP won't rub off, wear off, scrap off, or scuff off. For this reason, it is excellent for high performance engines, especially those with flat tappet camshafts. It coats all engine parts and protects them from dry starts, a leading cause of engine damage in vehicles kept in storage and driven infrequently. Treats six quarts or six liters of oil, and mixes with all synthetic and petroleum-based oils.
