Convert your OEM-style breaker points and condenser to the more reliable Unilite ignition from Mallory. These self-contained units have no moving parts to wear out, so they provide many years of trouble-free service. Simply replace the points with the Unilite module, which consists of a photo coupler, signal processor, and power switch. Each time the shutter wheel stops the infrared light from reaching the photo coupler, the electronic circuitry energizes the ignition coil. When the shutter wheel allows the light to reach the photo coupler, the stored energy in the coil discharges. These kits can drive both OEM and high-performance ignition coils, and are designed for 12 V negative ground systems.

AEM Mini Master battery management systems are comprised of three components: 1. VCU 2. BMS-18 Mini Master 3. BMS-18 Satellite(s) The BMS is implemented as two different module types: the Mini Master and the Satellite. Each module is capable of measuring up to 18 cells and three temperatures (thermistors), but the Master also contains the CAN communication interface and J1772 charging specific connections needed for each battery pack. The VCU communicates with the BMS via the Mini Master module and all battery packs need at least one Mini Master unit. The Satellites expand the capability of the Master by an additional 18 cells and three thermistors per additional Satellite connected. The Satellite modules are connected to their Master via a high-speed serial interface (isoSPI) that allows additional units to be daisy chained together, adding as many Satellites as necessary for the battery pack configuration. The VCU is responsible for all BMS control logic. All setup and calibration items can be modified using the AEMCal user interface. MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor spark plug wire sets feature a special helically wound core that has just 40-50 ohms of resistance per foot—but with an RFI suppression equal to a 1,500 ohm wire. In fact, each foot of finished wire includes 40 ft. of tightly wound copper for superior conductivity. This winding procedure, combined with a ferro-magnetic impregnated center core, produces an extremely effective Electro Magnetic Interference "choke." This choke, or suppression capability, keeps the EMI inside the wire where it cannot interfere with other electronics on your vehicle. A tough, 8.5mm synthetic/silicone jacket over an extra-heavy glass braid and dielectric insulator keeps the current guided to the plugs. There are two ways to limit your rpms. The rough way simply cuts off ignition spark, which can cause backfiring, extreme engine roughness, and possible engine damage. The gentle way is with these MSD Soft Touch rev controllers. They use sophisticated computer circuitry to drop spark one cylinder at a time, until your engine is at or below its maximum rpm. Those cylinders are then fired on the next cycle, to prevent them from loading up with fuel. The result is smooth rev limiting action without all the rough stuff. There are two versions of the Soft Touch rev controllers--one for MSD's 6T, 6TN, 6HVC ignitions, and one for OEM electronic and points ignitions. Both come with 6,000, 7,000, and 8,000 rpm plug-in modules, and can be used with other modules or MSD's RPM module selector.
