When it comes to high-horsepower applications, Rhodes Race Cars fabricated Ford 9 in. housings are the only way to go. Available in 48 in. and 60 in. lengths, all the kits feature face plates with 3/8 in. press-in studs, billet aluminum fill caps, and drain fittings. Mild steel housings have 3 in. axle tubes; chromoly housings use 3 1/2 in. axle tubes. They are available with many different options--get one for your ride today. Un-welded kits require a rear end housing fixture (sold separately) to ensure proper axle alignment. When off-road, encountering obstacles and hazards that could inflict expensive damage to your differential is inevitable. ARB differential covers are made from high-tensile strength nodular iron (tougher and harder than carbon steel); they are engineered to protect the differential and ring and pinion from off-road hazards. Available for a select line of differentials, they are offered in red or black powdercoated finishes. Summit Racing™ offers cast aluminum differential covers for most case design applications. They feature thick gasket rails to resist oil leaks, as well as cast-in ribs for added strength and heat dissipation. Some models include a drain plug and/or filler plug. Choose from Natural Aluminum with machined rib edges, Black Powdercoated with machined rib edges or Highly Polished finishes. These differential covers include a gasket and mounting bolts for a complete installation.
