While most gas stations label their flex fuel as E85 (85 percent ethanol/15 percent gasoline), the actual content could be quite different. AEM sensors deliver the ability to determine the composition of the fuel blend pumped into your vehicle at any given time. The probe is a 3/16 in. diameter and utilizes an 1/8 in. pipe thread weld-in bung. The probe is centered in the tube using a compression fitting screwed into the weld-in bung, both of which are included. The probe lead has a male K-type connector on the end and can easily be shortened to your installation. The Computech weld-in temperature sensors are designed to be used with regular octane gasoline, high-octane racing gas, ethanol, methanol, and nitro mixtures.
