In addition, for ease of installation, they are designed as direct plug-ins using the supplied harness for your specific application. Dakota Digital EGT/Cylinder Head Temperature Interface Modules

The Dakota Digital BIM-12-2 Exhaust Gas Temp (EGT) and Cylinder Head Temp (CHT) interface module allows for up to two temperature inputs (i.e., 2 EGT or 2 CHT; or 1 EGT and 1 CHT readings). The BIM-12-2 supersedes the BIM-12-1. The BIM-12-2 will supply this information to the VHX, HDX, RTX and VFD3 systems with a black plastic control module. (For any BIM-compatible control boxes which contain the 3.5mm headphone jack BIM input, add part number 394193 adaptor harness. Earlier instrument systems with an aluminum control module are not capable of BIM connectivity.)

Innovate SSI-4 Plus 4-Channel Interfaces

Innovate SSI-4 Plus 4-channel interfaces can be used as stand-alone devices for logging data directly into a laptop with the included LogWorks software—or used in conjunction with any other MTS (Modular Tuning System) compliant device. Channel 1 is a direct rpm input by default, and can also be configured for external 0-5 V, frequency, or spark reference for ignition timing measurement. Channels 2-4 are configured to digitize external 0-5 V analog signals by default. Channel 2 can directly measure frequencies (like driveshaft speed) or duty cycles (for injectors). Channel 3 can measure rpm from a VR (variable reluctance) sensor, and can also be set up for ignition timing crank angle reference (trigger wheels) or frequency. FAST XFI Driveshaft Speed Sensor Kits

FAST XFI driveshaft speed sensor kits measure driveshaft rpm to provide more accurate data for the traction control unit. Two magnets are fitted to the collar around the pinion yoke, which attaches to the driveshaft. When one of the magnets passes the pickup, it sends a signal to the XFI unit. They then use that signal to calculate both driveshaft rpm and driveshaft acceleration. As a result, these speed sensor kits provide much more precise readings, as opposed to determining driveshaft speed solely through variable engine rpm.
