Maximize your engine's potential with the FiTech Go-Spark ignition box and coil kits! You've got the fuel, now upgrade the spark with the FiTech Go-Spark Capacitive Discharge Ignition! The Go-Spark CDI produces a series of multiple sparks below 2,500 rpm to improve starting, idle quality, and throttle response. At higher rpm, the CD technology continues to deliver full energy sparks through racing rpm to ensure complete combustion of the fuel mixture. The Go-Spark CDI was designed for 4, 6, and 8-cylinder engines equipped with a distributor. It accepts the trigger signal from an HEI, amplifier, points or 2-wire non-magnetic pickup distributors. A separate 12 V square wave tach output can be used to trigger the EFI system and/or a tach. Plus, high-energy coil enhances CDI performance. FiTech Go-Spark distributors feature 2-wire magnetic pickups, compact bowl and cap designs to fit into locations where a larger or bulkier distributors will not, and adjustable advance systems, vacuum and/or mechanical, that allow you to dial in a timing curve for any high performance need or for more economy when cruising at light loads on the street or highway. CNC-machined housings, centerless ground shafts, Oil-Lite bushings, hardened drive gears, and FiTech's 3-year limited warranty make Go-Spark distributors very popular. Choose one for your vehicle. The affordable distributors have high-dollar features that outperform the competition, like a lightweight aluminum housing that's precision CNC-machined for strength and stability, polished steel shafts with sealed ball bearings for stable operation through 10,000 rpm, and a maintenance-free, high-output magnetic trigger for accurate and reliable performance. The distributors have a black alkyd cap and some models also feature vacuum advance. An ignition box is not required for use with Summit Racing™ Ready-to-Run billet distributors except when used with an aftermarket EFI system.
