ARP Stainless Steel Accessory Studs
ARP stainless steel accessory studs can be used for exhaust systems, intake manifolds, and a number of other uses. They are made of ARP's stainless 300 and are impervious to the rust and corrosion that plague ordinary fasteners. The studs feature a unique nut starter nose and a hex broached tip, allowing them to be easily installed using an Allen wrench. Stainless steel 12-point nuts and washers are included. ARP High Performance Series main bolts are rated at 180,000 psi and a popular premium replacement for OEM fasteners. Designed to meet the exacting standards and demands of professional engine builders, ARP bolts are forged from 8740 chromoly steel and feature a reduced wrenching head, large underhead radius, and rolled threads for the utmost in reliability. The threads are rolled after heat-treating which gives them about 2,000 percent better fatigue strength than most main bolts that are threaded prior to heat-treating. Hardened parallel-ground washers are included with each kit.
