For the price, no other part can give you the horsepower and fuel economy improvements of Hedman headers. They make Hedman Street headers so well that they guarantee them to be free from defects--including cracks in the tubes and welds--for the life of the headers. Hedman Street headers are available uncoated or in Black Maxx or their polished HTC thermal ceramic coated finishes and, as an added bonus, they also come with all necessary gaskets and mounting hardware. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts, and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom-altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment. Special warning regarding Hedman painted headers only. The paint on these headers is not designed as a final finish; it is designed to protect the headers after the manufacturing process and during shipping. This paint will not withstand the high heat associated with engine break-in, nor will it withstand the heat cycles associated with any type of driving. It is recommended that this protective coating be stripped, and a high heat paint or coating designed for use on headers be applied.

OTC DEF refractometers make it quick and easy for an operator or technician to get an accurate measurement of urea concentration in DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) or AdBlue. EPA regulations require all diesel engines manufactured on or after January 1, 2010 to meet lowered NOx emissions standards. Most heavy-duty engine (Class 7-8 trucks) manufacturers, have chosen to utilize SCR—Selective Catalytic Reduction. This Includes Detroit Diesel (DD13, DD15, and DD16 models), Cummins (ISX line), PACCAR, and Volvo/Mack. SCR-equipped engines require the periodic addition of DEF (a urea solution) to enable the process. DEF is available in a bottle from most truck stops, and some have installed bulk DEF dispensers near the diesel fuel pumps. Prevent vapor lock and shift cables from melting with Lava hot rod sleeves from Heatshield Products. The heat shields for fuel lines combine the best of two worlds, the flexibility of a rugged hot rod sleeve with the strength of lava rock fiber. Lava fiber is naturally acid, chemical, brake fluid, and chemical-resistant. Additionally, the fiber is 25 percent stronger than fiberglass and is abrasion-resistant. The special braid of these tube heat shield sleeves allows them to have an expandable inside diameter up to 15 percent. To expand the inside diameter, shorten the length or bunch up the Lava hot rod sleeve to allow it to slide on over fittings and terminals. Once over, expand or stretch the length to tighten the sleeve onto the line or hose. To cut, use a sharp knife or pair of scissors.
