Improved Racing Oil Pan Baffles
Proper oil pan baffling is critical for improving oil control and reducing oil starvation in high performance engines. Improved Racing oil pan baffles provide effective, track-proven protection against oil starvation for road racing, drifting, autocross, drag racing, and even off-roading and rock crawling. The baffles use trap doors to keep oil around the pickup tube and provide vastly improved oil control over the stock baffles. They are sufficient to prevent oil pressure drops at up to 1.4 sustained lateral Gs in most vehicles. Even semi-dry sump systems suffer from oil aeration when the pickup tube in the oil pan sucks up air, aerates the oil, and fills the dry sump tank with foamy oil. Foamy oil is compressible and results in oil pressure drops when pumped into the engine. Improved Racing baffles help keep more oil around the pickup tube in the oil pan, reducing oil aeration and improving oil pressure. They're offered for 1 1/2 in. or 1 3/4 in. tube mounting and flat sheet metal mounting. These units are equipped with a filter to keep dirt out of your lubricant, and 1/4 in. NPT pipe threads or an -8 AN at the bottom for your vent line.

Holley LS Swap 4WD Truck Off-Road Oil Pan Baffles
Holley offers LS swap 4WD truck off-road oil pan baffles for a variety of trucks, including many Chevy and GMC models from the 1970s and '80s. They take Holley's popular cast aluminum oil pans (P/N 302-4 and 302-4BK) designed to swap LS engines into K10s and other trucks to a whole new level. Vehicles that endure prolonged sessions of climbing, crawling, braking, turning, and accelerating need extra protection from oil starvation. That's where these baffle kits come in. They improve upon the baffle included with those pans, maintain proper oil level at the oil pump pick-up during vehicle elevation and grade changes, accelerations, both lateral and linear, and braking. This prevents loss of engine oil pressure during off-road excursions as well as during hard acceleration. Each baffle is fabricated from sheet aluminum joined by TIG-welded joints. Directionally positioned one-way trap doors allow oil flow toward the oil pump pick-up but not away. These direct bolt-in baffles are designed to be used in the Holley P/N 302-4 and 302-4BK LS Swap oil pan with the standard pickup, and are a drop-in replacement for the standard tray baffle. They're great for street, race, and off-road applications.
