BMR Suspension torque box reinforcement plate kits offer strength and performance benefits for your Fox-chassis Mustang—which are not known for being strong. These kits will increase stiffness, reinforce the factory torque box, reduce control arm mount deflection, and deliver the ability for added horsepower and torque to be applied safely to your Fox chassis. The reinforcement braces for the upper and lower rear control arm mounts (torque boxes) are made from CNC laser-cut, CNC-formed, and MIG-welded steel plate. The plates bolt in using supplied hardware and require very little fabrication to complete. BMR kits are available for lower or upper only, or together. Prevent rear-end alignment issues, poor performance, and unsafe driving conditions—while putting as much power to the wheels as possible, without fear of damaging the critical area of your chassis—by adding BMR reinforcement plate kits.

General Motors' tailshaft mounted design works great for a stock-driven vehicle; however, it is not designed to take abuse and hard launches. UMI Performance torque arm relocation kits replace your transmission crossmember with a new, stronger setup with a built-in torque arm mount. Each relocation kit is designed to fit a specific transmission and will work with virtually any stock-style aftermarket torque arm, as well as with the factory torque arm. These units are built using rectangular mild steel tubing and 0.188 in. mild steel mounting plates and they include all hardware needed for installation. The torque arm mount is machined from 0.250 in. thick mild steel and features a new clamshell for appropriately attaching the torque arm to the new crossmember.

UMI Performance control arm torque box reinforcements will take care of those cracked torque boxes. If you have raced your Mustang aggressively, on slicks, or even on the street, and especially if your car is a 5-speed, you may have cracked torque boxes. Fox bodies don't have the best chassis to begin with; combine them with a V8 and some torque, and you are going to have problems. UMI Performance offers tunnel mounted torque arm relocation kits for a variety of 1982-92 GM F-Body vehicles, including Chevy Camaros and Pontiac Firebirds. These TH350 transmission mounts come with an added bushing mount to be used with UMI's tunnel-mounted torque arm. They are the same mount supplied with UMI's 2214 tunnel-mounted torque arm setup.
