Artec Industries High Steer Stud Kits

Finding the proper fasteners in your local hardware store can be a challenge—especially for automotive purposes. Instead, simply order Artec Industries high steer stud kits, the OE-style replacements needed for your Dana axle. Most of these steel studs have a black oxide finish, fine threads on both ends, and offer tensile strength up to 220,000 psi. (Some kits also include nuts and/or conical washers.) Remember, stock bolts are typically too short for high steer applications. Artec studs are sold individually or in multi-pack sets.

Reid Racing Dana 60 Bronze Upper Kingpin Bushings

Reid Dana 60 bronze upper kingpin bushings replace the OEM nylon cone bushings in severe-duty applications--where the factory parts succumb to accelerated wear and premature breakage. They're designed specifically for rock crawling and other extreme off-road motorsports. The bushings are machined from the highest-grade alloy of any kingpin bushings for unsurpassed tensile strength and resistance to extrusion, galling, and wear. The included roll pin prevents rotation within the knuckle, while the improved grease passages allow proper pressure greasing for easier servicing. Heavy-duty Reid Dana 60 bronze upper kingpin bushings are for use with aftermarket adjustable preload high steer arms or shimmed spring eliminator kits, instead of the OEM spring and cap retainer. Their unique design increases surface area in the highest-stressed areas of the bushing face and eliminates steering shimmy common to kingpin knuckles. Threaded extraction holes make it easy to remove them when necessary.

Rough Country Heavy-Duty Ball Joints

Rough Country heavy-duty ball joints help resolve a common wear issue item on Jeeps that can produce vibrations, steering wander, or even clunking noises. This is especially true when installing a lift kit—making it a great time to replace the weaker factory models with a heavy-duty joint that is designed to handle the additional stresses of oversize tires. These vital components are designed from the ground up to give you a stronger, longer lasting ball joint that fits like a direct factory replacement. At the heart of these joints lies a high-precision chromoly ball stud that is oil-quenched, tempered, and features spiral grooves to ensure lubrication during intense use. Transform your vehicle into a legend with an assist from the Rough Country heavy-duty ball joints best suited for your application. More product features and items may include: * Metal-on-metal design to provide a longer life span compared to joints with plastic/polymer components * Fully greaseable * Polyurethane dust boot * Carburized alloy housing * Universal-fit design for aftermarket axle shafts * Requires a break-in period during the first 100 to 500 miles where steering will feel heavy and struggle to return to center; the steering will feel tight and smooth after this period
