At the core of these kits are Stifflers' unique single-tube crossmembers—adding strength and stiffness beyond that of OEM versions, while offering versatility without the excess weight. They also allow more exhaust clearance. To install, simply slide the mounting sleeves and reposition the spacers to cover your application. They work with OEM and aftermarket transmission mounts, and will maintain your current pinion angle. Stifflers Suspension transmission crossmembers include low-deflection polyurethane bushings in the mounts to dampen driveline vibrations and noise, but for racing applications they can be replaced by optional solid bushings. Hooker LS engine swap transmission crossmembers are built to mount the transmission in place when switching to an LS engine. They are designed using CAD modeling/FEA analysis for optimal fitment, strength, weight, safety, and appearance. The crossmembers are manufactured from high-strength, low-alloy steel and then black powdercoated for maximum durability. They provide an engineered 3 to 3.5 degree engine/transmission inclination angle that is critical to obtaining suitable U-joint working angles. They are designed to be used in conjunction with Hooker LS engine swap brackets to provide a bolt-in installation of Hooker LS swap manifolds, headers, and exhaust systems for this application.

Artec Industries' modular truss ends are designed to complement their modular and short trusses—enabling them to "grow up" and be full-width trusses. Simply trim the end of this product to match the contours of ANY short-style truss, and you have a full-width truss at hand. The design is borrowed from Artec's new low-profile front trusses, and gives you a more compact truss that doesn't get in the way of other vehicle components. The 3/8 in. thick truss top and 1/4 in thick gussets incorporate a unique design to strengthen the axle and provide a link mounting surface or bump stop pad. Use a long modular truss end with a 14-bolt truss and make a 14-bolt front axle. Or use two modular truss ends on a rear axle with a modular or short truss, and you'll have a low-profile rear truss which has more clearance for frame rails than a normal rear truss and gives you a flat surface for bump stops to hit. Additional product details: * 3/8 in. thick mild steel truss top and 1/4 in. mild steel gussets. Precision CNC-cut and bent for great fitment * Works great with Artec modular and short trusses AND virtually any short-style truss, even from other manufacturers * 3.5 in. axle tube diameter * Allows customization of your truss system to fit your needs * Provides a lower profile than a standard rear truss—perfect for clearing rear frame rails and providing a bump stop pad * Truss is reinforced using interlocked 1/4 in. thick gussets for maximum strength and easy assembly * Overall low-profile design means your axle is stronger, sleeker, easier to fit into any vehicle, and less likely to interfere with vehicle components NOTE: The truss end is flat on the end and not contoured to any truss.
