At the core of these kits are Stifflers' unique single-tube crossmembers—adding strength and stiffness beyond that of OEM versions, while offering versatility without the excess weight. They also allow more exhaust clearance. To install, simply slide the mounting sleeves and reposition the spacers to cover your application. They work with OEM and aftermarket transmission mounts, and will maintain your current pinion angle. Stifflers Suspension transmission crossmembers include low-deflection polyurethane bushings in the mounts to dampen driveline vibrations and noise, but for racing applications they can be replaced by optional solid bushings. Stifflers Suspension weld-on subframe connectors are engineered to be stiff, lightweight, and easy to install. These full-length connectors are manufactured from 1.5 in. x 2 in. x .083 in. rectangular tubing. They are optimized using CAD/CAE software to provide the ultimate in stiffness, reduced weight, and maximized surface area between the subframe and connector. Stifflers subframe connectors feature crimped and welded tube ends to seal out moisture, while also increasing strength, and a laser-cut cross brace that reduces free span, reinforces the floor pan, and minimizes required welding during installation. All is given an industrial-grade powdercoat for long life. Welding areas are pre-masked, so no removal of powdercoat is needed before installation--a real time-saver!

Lowering your truck is cool, but when you do, where are you going to put the exhaust--under the frame? You'll run out of room, real quick. Well, Brothers Trucks has the solution in their crossmember exhaust brackets. These kits include meaty steel components--brackets, bolts, and template—that allow modification of the factory trailing arm crossmember for dual exhaust. They are ideal options if you don't want to remove the crossmember and still be able to tuck the exhaust up inside the frame, and they are the perfect solution for someone that doesn't have access to a welding machine. The provided metal template allows perfect alignment for the bolt holes and exhaust cut out. It utilizes an existing hole in the crossmember to locate the template, then insert one of the supplied bolts, clamp in place, and mark the remaining holes for drilling. For the center hole, the hole in the template is larger to allow a plasma torch to be used as a guide, but if you don't have a plasma torch other means, such as a hole saw, can still be used to cut the hole. Get more clearance for exhaust without weakening your truck's frame when utilizing Brothers Trucks crossmember brackets. Artec Industries large 4-link crossmember brackets allow for triangulated lower links that meet at a 1.75 in. O.D. round tube or 2.00 in. square tube crossmember between frame rails (depending on model). They're made for use with large joints that have a 2.625 in. mounting width. The hole size is 9/16 in., but can be drilled for larger sizes. Angles are set at 22 degrees each (44 degrees total) to allow use with Artec's angled lower link axle brackets. These large 4-link crossmember brackets are made from 1/4 in. thick steel and come in six unwelded pieces that jig together for easy assembly.

Artec Industries' modular truss ends are designed to complement their modular and short trusses—enabling them to "grow up" and be full-width trusses. Simply trim the end of this product to match the contours of ANY short-style truss, and you have a full-width truss at hand. The design is borrowed from Artec's new low-profile front trusses, and gives you a more compact truss that doesn't get in the way of other vehicle components. The 3/8 in. thick truss top and 1/4 in thick gussets incorporate a unique design to strengthen the axle and provide a link mounting surface or bump stop pad. Use a long modular truss end with a 14-bolt truss and make a 14-bolt front axle. Or use two modular truss ends on a rear axle with a modular or short truss, and you'll have a low-profile rear truss which has more clearance for frame rails than a normal rear truss and gives you a flat surface for bump stops to hit. Additional product details: * 3/8 in. thick mild steel truss top and 1/4 in. mild steel gussets. The brackets have a 2.625 in. mounting width with 9/16 in. bolt hole for common sized style cartridge joints. The skid plate on the bottom of each bracket wraps around the joint, protecting it from direct impact and decreasing premature wear; this skid plate design does not restrict movement of the joint.
