Bosch Motorsport electronic throttle bodies (ETBs) are designed to control the fresh air delivery of spark ignition engines in combination with an electronic throttle control (ETC) system. ETB applications with flex-fuel, CNG and LPG are permissible if injected in the air flow after the throttle body. They do this by smoothing out the pressure fluctuations, or pulsations, caused by the injectors opening and closing, as well as the fuel pump operating.
