They are designed with larger openings to accommodate throttle bore sizes up to 2.31 in. without modification and are wider to accommodate the larger runners in the new manifolds. Edelbrock's Torker II intake manifolds feature a single-plane, low-rise design that can give you top-end horsepower without affecting the mid-range. Adding more cfm of airflow through your carburetor is as easy as replacing your existing air cleaner with one of these K&N X-Stream airflow assemblies. They allow air to enter smoothly from the top, which helps to draw more air in from the sides. That means that you get more airflow headed down the carburetor or throttle body and into the combustion chamber. If you are a serious racer, or just need more airflow, then you need to get K&N air filters.
