Summit Racing™ offers Race Series main bearing sets for a wide range of applications—including many Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram small block, big block, and Hemi engines from the early 1960s and up. Main bearings hold the crankshaft in place and allow it to rotate within the engine block. These performance replacements are machined from tri-metal copper-lead alloy, and are available in numerous upper/lower groove styles and engine crankshaft undersize options. A Summit Racing™ power brake booster is the perfect addition to your street rod or custom application. The boosters use vacuum from the engine, or a standalone pump, to assist in slowing down the vehicle as you depress the brakes. This makes the brake pedal much easier to press and improves the braking response of the vehicle. These power brake boosters are available in multiple diameters, in single or dual-diaphragm designs to best fit your application. That's 222 ft.-lbs of racecar cranking power. If that's not enough cranking power to suit you, there are even more powerful 3.1 hp monsters, which are a pound lighter! They have a 4.44:1 reduction ratio and churn out an awesome 342 ft.-lbs. of torque.
