Stock-style quarter panels reach all the way to the edges of the rear quarter panel area, including the trunk and door edges, and extend to the roof line. Goodmark's 80 percent coverage panels are nearly as large as full quarter panels, but do not include any trunk lips or the sail panel—they cover only the side of the panel and reach to the area of the bottom of an OE vinyl roof. They cost less, but may require more labor to install. Patch panels or skins are smaller pieces of quarter panels, designed for repairing small holes in isolated areas, and it can be difficult to hide the seams where they're welded.
