They are intended to be used to lift heavier trunk lids and toppers/tonneau covers that require more than one motor. These actuator controllers have a safety auto-reverse feature that will stop downward travel if something would block the trunk lid. If too much current draw is detected, indicating a blocked condition, the motors will reverse and return to the previous position before they started moving down. The system can learn three user programmable heights, so trunk lid/cover will automatically move to a desired position with the push of a button. There is also an "auto-move to position" feature that will open the trunk lid/cover when the key is turned off, and close the lid/cover when the key is turned on.

Dakota Digital EGT/Cylinder Head Temperature Interface Modules
The Dakota Digital BIM-12-2 Exhaust Gas Temp (EGT) and Cylinder Head Temp (CHT) interface module allows for up to two temperature inputs (i.e., 2 EGT or 2 CHT; or 1 EGT and 1 CHT readings). The BIM-12-2 supersedes the BIM-12-1. The BIM-12-2 will supply this information to the VHX, HDX, RTX and VFD3 systems with a black plastic control module. (For any BIM-compatible control boxes which contain the 3.5mm headphone jack BIM input, add part number 394193 adaptor harness. Earlier instrument systems with an aluminum control module are not capable of BIM connectivity.)

Dakota Digital Automatic Door Lock Controllers
These Dakota Digital automatic door lock controllers are designed with flexibility in mind. They will lock or unlock suicide safety door pins for a shaved door handle application, or power door motors for standard power lock applications. The controllers can be activated by two methods. First, by vehicle speed--this can be accomplished by hooking into an existing VSS circuit (electronic speedometer, cruise control, transmission mounted speed sensor, electric lockup torque converter kit, or navigation system), locking as the vehicle approaches a user-selectable speed, and then unlocking as the vehicle ignition is turned off. Second, by gear position--when using a Dakota Digital gear shift sending unit, a 12 V signal can be applied to the input of the controllers. Once the transmission is shifted into a drive gear, the doors will lock, and will then unlock as the transmission is shifted back into park. These Dakota Digital automatic door lock controllers include a dual relay pack to interface with either suicide safety door pins or standard door lock actuators.
