Summit Racing™ Corvette-style servo piston kits allow you to swap out your OEM servo on your 700R4 or 4L60E/4L65E automatic transmission and improve shift quality and firmness. They have a larger piston area which increases band-apply pressure and holding power. These kits are drop-in upgrades and will really firm up the 1-2 shift. Includes both pistons and all necessary O-rings.

Sonnax servo release check valve kits are unique solutions. Since the GM 4L60 (700-R4) and 4L60-E Series transmissions were introduced, they have had inadequate metering of 2nd gear band servo release oil resulting in 3-4 clutch pack failure. The 3-4 clutch pack and 2nd gear band are just not properly synchronized. Sonnax servo release check valve kits combine an orifice with a ball check valve to resolve these issues and successfully extend the life of 3-4 clutches, and improve the 2-3 shift feel. Sonnax hydraulic line pressure booster kits contain stronger pressure regulator springs and large ratio boost valves designed to work together, providing progressive pressure increases as driving conditions become more demanding. Their springs are approximately 10 percent stronger than OEM and more conservative in impact than other aftermarket kit springs. Large ratio boost valves provide higher pressure incrementally and when it's needed the most. The combination of these springs and valves in the Sonnax hydraulic line pressure booster kits gives you the best of both worlds--a modest pressure increase at the low-end, with a high-end pressure that's equal to or greater than that of other aftermarket kit springs.

Wear at the piston pin bore surface can result in poor shift quality and burnt clutches and bands. Sonnax pinless accumulator piston kits prevent pin bore leakage. They're also longer to stabilize the piston and prevent piston cocking. They feature dual seals to stabilize and completely seal the bore, and steel balls to plug the existing pin bore.
