Hybrid Racing heavy-duty transmission detent springs offer an increase in the preload and stiffer spring rate over the factory parts which aids the transmission gear selector fork. Upgrading these springs will make your gear engagements a bit sharper since they replace the soft OEM ones. Factory springs also have a service limit, meaning they should be changed when they no longer meet the requirements. Whether upgrading or servicing your current worn out springs, you will feel an immediate change for the better once installed. Add new life to your gear changes with Hybrid Racing heavy-duty Honda® transmission detent springs. Select the set designed for your car. Features: * Stiffer spring rate compared to stock * Stronger springs offer direct gear engagement * Zinc Chromate plated for durability (black or yellow) * Suitable for all cars (street and race)

New EBC CSK clutch springs prevent damage from prolonged exposure to heat and wear. They are OEM upgrades and are 10 percent stiffer than stock. The lever will be slightly stiffer which can wear your hand out riding in heavy traffic, but in return the clutch engages smoother and faster with the stiffer springs making takeoff smooth and shifting faster and less effort to speed shift.

Sonnax retaining rings are stamped from high-strength, roll-tempered steel, providing additional muscle to resist deflection better than mild steel OE retainers. Successful ET racing requires consistent transbrake release; that usually means utilizing stiffer springs—which leads to the need for stronger spring retainers that won't be deflected. Sonnax no-flex reverse spring retainers are small solutions to faster transbrake response times.

Sticking of bypass components, spring relaxation, or poor ball seat in Ford 4R100 and E4OD units will allow the bypass to open at lower cracking pressure. This reduces TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) apply pressure, cooler flow at the overdrive section, and radiator flow responsible for heat transfer. Sonnax automatic transmission cooler bypass valve kits allow the bypass valve assembly to be rebuilt, salvaging the OE fittings and maintaining cracking pressure at 70 to 75 psi. Features: * Hardened steel T-valve provides secure check ball seat and adequate bypass flow * New spring cracks open at 70 to 75 psi to provide lube if cooler is blocked or restricted * Hardened alloy steel check ball resists damage * Seven new O-rings provide positive seal for cooler circuit * Drop-in Zip Valve parts install quickly and easily Contents: * T-valve * Spring * Check ball * O-rings -- One small -- Two medium -- Two large -- Two extra-large

The Sonnax automatic transmission reverse servo spacers provide a simple, low-cost way to add durability to the GM 4L80-E and 4L85-E transmissions and eliminates the need to retrofit early design reverse servo pistons into late units. Due to a design change in 1996, it had been found that the reverse servo piston commonly breaks because it is stressed more than early servos. Installation of Sonnax reverse servo spacers reduce piston stress by increasing the contact area between the aluminum piston and spacer and incorporating a cushion spring washer. The new contact area is over two times the original and the pressure between the piston and the spacer is reduced by 60 percent. The reverse servo spacer kits easily install during assembly and does not require machining or other modifications. Excessively high line pressure in 'Reverse' is directly related to boost valve wear and cross-leaks into the EPC oil circuit. For maximum durability, inspect and replace the boost valve with one of the Sonnax 4L80-E boost valve kits (sold separately). Product features and benefits: * Increased contact area reduces pressure between apply pin and piston by 60 percent * Added Belleville spring washer reduces shock on piston * No machining necessary, drop-in components * Maximum durability for minimal cost

GM 6L45, 6L50, 6L80 and 6L90 automatic transmission units may exhibit multiple line pressure and cooler/converter/lube flow problems due to excess wear in the pressure regulator bore. Deterioration at the balance spool end allows critical fluid loss, resulting in high line pressure, harsh shifts, and overheating due to reduced cooler/converter flow. Wear at the outboard spool robs converter feed pressure and lowers line pressure, resulting in soft shifts and burnt clutches. Installing a Sonnax pressure regulator valve kit restores the hydraulic integrity of these circuits for proper line pressure control in all ranges. A new pressure regulator valve outer spring is also included to replace weakened original springs and provide a modest 5 psi increase across the pressure curve. Additional details: * Hardcoat anodized aluminum valve combats premature wear * Lengthened critical spools operate in non-worn portion of bore for added stability and wear prevention * Annular grooves help center valve in bore to reduce future side-load wear * Drop-in Zip Valve parts install quickly and easily Kit contents: * Valve * Spring * Drill bit .040 in. * 2 checkballs (1 extra)

Sonnax hydraulic line pressure booster kits contain stronger pressure regulator springs and large ratio boost valves designed to work together, providing progressive pressure increases as driving conditions become more demanding. Their springs are approximately 10 percent stronger than OEM and more conservative in impact than other aftermarket kit springs. Large ratio boost valves provide higher pressure incrementally and when it's needed the most. The combination of these springs and valves in the Sonnax hydraulic line pressure booster kits gives you the best of both worlds--a modest pressure increase at the low-end, with a high-end pressure that's equal to or greater than that of other aftermarket kit springs.

Sonnax Line pressure booster kits allow you to shift aggressively and then feel the tranny grab the clutches with more power when it changes gear. The larger boost valves and matching regulator springs raise line pressure progressively as higher pressure is commanded. These kits modify the sensor signal, which causes the computer to create a pressure increase. They're installed between the pressure sensor and vehicle harness using OE-style sealed connectors; no modifications are needed to the transmission.
