VP Racing Madditive Cool Down coolant additive improves the performance of your coolant and is safe for all radiator systems—ideal for racing, street, RV, and tow vehicle applications. It reduces cylinder head temperatures up to 50 degrees F! Cool Down increases coolant flow for better heat transfer, lubricates all vital components, and is approved by most race sanctioning bodies. One 16 oz. bottle of Cool Down treats cooling systems of 12 to 20 qts. For systems over 20 qts., one ounce of Cool Down is required for each additional quart. For straight water applications, an additional 50 percent of Cool Down is recommended, while diesel applications require twice the normal amount. Treatments last for one year or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first.
