MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensors which fail may cause the engine to have a too rich or lean fuel mixture condition. Crown Automotive MAP sensors restore data transmission to regulate timing control and fuel delivery. They convert engine vacuum/manifold pressure to an electrical signal so that the computer knows how much load the engine is under. This data is the basis for calculating values which keep your vehicle in top running order.

The manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP sensor) is one of the sensors used in a vehicle's electronic control system (ECU). The MAP sensors provide instantaneous manifold pressure information to the engine's computer (ECU). The data is used to calculate air density and determine the engine's air mass flow rate, which determines the required fuel metering for optimum combustion and influences the advance or retard of the ignition timing. A faulty Map sensor can cause a vehicle to run rich or lean, which will affect the vehicle's ignition timing and cause the engine not to run smoothly. Holstein Parts uses only the highest quality materials and engineering for parts that are truly built to match or exceed the OE part. Holstein Parts MAP sensors offer superior coverage for domestic and import applications.

Standard Motor Products MAP sensors are direct, high-quality replacements for your vehicle's worn, damaged, or malfunctioning manifold absolute pressure sensor. These sensors accurately produce voltage or frequency as manifold pressure changes, and the computer uses this information to measure engine load so that the ignition timing can be advanced and retarded as needed. On engines with a speed density type of fuel injection, the MAP sensors also help the PCM estimate airflow. Malfunctioning MAP sensors can often cause problems such as an intermittent check engine light, hesitation when accelerating, elevated emissions, and poor engine performance. Keep your vehicle in top operating condition with Standard Motor Products MAP sensors.

Holstein Parts ABS sensor line has superior coverage for domestic and import applications. Anti-lock Braking, ABS Systems allows the driver to maintain control of the car in an emergency braking situation. The ABS system relies on sensors to monitor the wheel's speed and communicate with the ABS computer to ensure ideal performance. The data from the ABS sensor then allows the computer to balance the speed of each wheel to prevent the brakes from locking up and avoiding dangerous skidding situations. Holstein Parts focuses on using only the highest quality materials for their products, all parts are manufactured to exacting standards for an aftermarket product that is truly built to match or exceed the OE part.

Standard Motor ABS speed sensors supply information regarding wheel movement to the ABS computer. They're often located at each wheel hub/rotor on 4-wheel disc systems. Alternatively, on rear drum applications, you'll usually find them mounted on the differential housing. Under braking, if wheel speeds are unequal, indicating wheel lockup, the computer modulates the anti-lock feature until the speeds are equal again. Replacement ABS speed sensors are available for hundreds of makes/models. Just match up your vehicle specs to order the correct unit.
