Ford Performance Parts ignition coil brackets are the best way we have found to hold your canister-style coil in place and dress up your engine compartment at the same time. They are made from heavy-gauge steel; then polished and triple chrome plated for long-lasting good looks and corrosion protection. They can be mounted to the intake manifold in the OEM position or bolted to a fender or firewall for more clearance.

Moroso distributor hold-down clamps are extra-thick and heavy duty to ensure adequate retention of distributor housing, and are stud-mounted to eliminate thread wear in the intake manifold. They are slotted for quick distributor removal and include a stud, washer, and nut.

Performance Distributors D.U.I. nylon shims may be necessary to protect the cam and distributor gears from irregular wear--especially if your engine has had the block and heads milled. If that's the case, then the distributor may sit too far down in the motor, which will "bottom out" the distributor on the oil pump. This is a bad situation which puts the gears in a bind and will cause irregular wear and destruction to the teeth of the gears. These high-impact nylon shims are designed to fit between the intake and distributor gasket. Installing a shim with the correct thickness will allow the gears to mesh properly and can prevent costly repairs down the road.
