Vehicles manufactured after 1990 often have differential housings sealed with RTV silicone. Over time, extreme vehicle vibration and even rough roads can cause the RTV bead to break. If the bead breaks and the vehicle loses the axle lube, the transmission gears begin to rub and wear. That's the whining sound that you hear. Unfortunately, it's a repair that needs immediate attention. Fel-Pro offers precut differential replacement gaskets for these applications, so you won't have to worry about applying RTV and waiting for it to set up to seal. These gaskets are available in a variety of materials, thicknesses, and configurations for precise fitment on nearly 70 differential case designs. Order the model recommended for your application—and eliminate the need for messy RTV sealant.

Remflex offers exhaust manifold crossover gaskets for vintage applications such as 1937-48 Cadillacs with 346 L head. The unique flexible graphite material has been proven for more than 30 years in industrial applications, where temperatures routinely exceed 2,000 degrees F, day after day, week after week, year after year. Now, Remflex brings this technology to enthusiasts of all kinds to eliminate exhaust leaks for good! Whether you have an old pick-up that needs a manifold gasket, or a race car with custom-built headers, you can be assured that Remflex exhaust gaskets will work properly the first time, every time. Installation tips: * Do not bend. Remflex gaskets are designed to withstand clamping force and incredible heat, but not bending. If you bend them, they will break. * Do not over tighten. When properly installed, the flange should be tightened evenly. Suggested torque: 15 lbs.-ft. * Longer bolts aren't necessary. Though Remflex are thicker than other gaskets, standard length bolts will work fine. * Do not use sealers. Silicone and other sealers cannot withstand the same temperature as Remflex gaskets—and can actually cause leaks.
