The Rock Ring still provides protection to keep the valve stem from being damaged on rocks—and it adds rigidity to the bead for any potential hard hits that may come on the trail. Turbo Vanes cut down on weight around the lip, where weight reduction matters most; while providing room for water, snow, and sludge to run out, rather than stay trapped as it does on many simulated beadlock applications.
