Melling offers replacement timing chain tensioners and hardware for a variety of applications—including select Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury models from the 1990s and up. These engine timing chain guide pivot pins work in tandem with the tensioner arm to ensure the chain is taut (so it will not flutter like a serpentine belt when the engine changes speeds). This steel pivot pin is machined to meet or exceed OEM requirements.
