Check your engine's vitals with Lisle automotive stethoscopes. These dual-purpose kits will detect both mechanical and air-induced sounds. They include a black diaphragm chamber and screw-in metal probe to detect mechanical sounds from bearings, engines, and transmissions. Or, attach the included hollow tube and funnel assembly to the vinyl hose to amplify and detect noises from vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, air leaks, and wind noise. For hard-to-reach locations, remove the funnel and use the hollow tube. Models are available with or without a magnetic tip.
